Sadie demonstrates creating master copies of two Boucher drawings using pastel pencil and white charcoal pencils on toned Ingres paper. Sadie created these demos in preparation for her April 2022 livestream in which she copied a third Boucher drawing.

Pitt Pastel pencils
In this course I use Pitt Pastel pencils on toned Stonehenge paper. See the complete Chalk and Charcoal materials list on the Materials tab above. I also use graphite pencil on white paper for my warm-up block-in sketch.
Burnt Umber
Walnut Brown
White Medium or General’s White Charcoal pencils
Tortillions (blending sticks)
Chamois cloth or paper towels
Kneaded Eraser
Stick eraser (Retractible pen-style, like a Tombow Mono or TuffStuff)
Pencil sharpener or sharpening tools: Boxcutter knife and 220 grit sandpaper
